Growing up in Augusta, Georgia, my family and I would escape the still air of Georgia every summer for the breezes of the Lowcountry. It was during those magical summers I fell in love with the Lowcountry and Beaufort. After attending Furman and Clemson Universities and working for The Nature Conservancy in Columbia, I left South Carolina to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales. Unable to escape the pull of the Lowcountry, I moved back to the Beaufort area with my husband. Now, I finally have the privilege of calling Beaufort home.
